Looking to develop your skills in illustration? Whether you’re a complete newbie to the world of illustrating or an experienced illustrator looking to hone your craft, we’ve got courses for you.

Laundrette

Try something new, develop creative skills or get career inspiration at the world’s largest dedicated space for illustration.

Our tutors are working illustrators with years of teaching experience whilst our event speakers are specialists in their area of work.

Whether you join them for an hour, a day or longer, you can expect fun, friendly and supportive sessions packed with everything you need to boost your illustration practice.

Courses

  • A series of sessions held over one, four or ten weeks that give you space to hone a new skill or work on a long-term project.
  • Courses are taught either online or in person
  • Always in small groups so that you get personal feedback from your tutor as you go.

Our recent course participants have worked on character design, graphic novel writing, botanical illustration and picture book making.

Workshops

  • One-day sessions focused on developing your illustration and craft skills.
  • Taught live, either in person or online
  • Small informal groups.

Recent workshops have covered non-fiction illustration, representation and fashion illustration.
